On October 10, 2016, Aaron Levin Harder performed at a private party in Prenzlauer Berg, Berlin, and played his most frequently played songs in an very intimate session. With Son House’s legendary “Death Letter Blues”, a mixture of his own songs “Giulietta” and “The Blues”, alongside his very unique version of Prince’s “How Come You Don’t Call Me Anymore” merged with “Purple Rain”, this rare live recording is one of the very few opportunities to hear Harder play genuinely in private. It captures his emotions and feelings completely unfiltered, as he opens up about his anxiety and disturbed thoughts, singing about his misery and depression without holding anything back, something he would often do in private, but rarely do so direct on his later concert shows.

‘Everyday Blues’ is the very first release by Aaron Levin Harder that arrived as part of The Aaron Levin Harder Legacy, and was recovered and overworked just before its eventual release on the third anniversary of its recording. The material was recorded in private and was originally never intended for any kind of release, being some of the most personal material available from Aaron Levin Harder.
