‘Blues Dont Let Me Dyin’ is the previously unreleased and aborted companion piece to the EP Blues Done Let Me Dyin, initially intended to accompany the EP’s original version back in 2017. The original 2017-version featured several different configurations throughout its creation process, including mostly alternate takes and overworked versions of songs that were to be released on Blues Done Let Me Dyin. It was originally intended to be released as a digital-only release before being planned to be issued as a special limited edition CD. This alternate version of the original EP eventually made ‘Blues Done Let Me Dyin’ the largest project of Harder’s entire catalogue, with the extensive re-recording of previously recorded material and its expansion through the addition of several variations. With the complete revamp and eventual release of Blues Done Let Me Dyin in 2020, the originally planned but unfinished companion piece eventually received a major overhaul, featuring the original and entirely uncut recordings of three tracks from the standard EP, while also containing two entirely new tracks. Along with the original EP in its now brand new rendition, this set of EPs gives a great glimpse into the working process and creative mind of Aaron Levin Harder in his last active year of producing material.⁣
